Help for pets: the claw scissors from Heiko Wild

There are many reasons why pets cannot wear down their claws properly, but only one choice how to remedy the situation: with a clean-cutting claw scissors! Usually it is the modern housing conditions, such as the soft bedding in hamster cages, through which the animals do not automatically wear their claws, which would happen all by itself in a natural habitat. Claws are the right length when they do not touch the ground at all or only minimally. But if the animals' walking on tiles or wooden floors suddenly causes clicking noises, it is urgent time for claw care. Because: if the claws are not shortened at all or much too seldom, this can lead not only to pain for the animal, but also to malpositions or adhesions. Attention: In contrast to human nails, claws are covered with blood vessels and even nerves from a certain area. Therefore, the claws should not be cut too deeply. This area of the claws can usually be recognized by a pink coloration.
