Thread scissors ring finger weaver scissors 115 mm stainless steel

These thread scissors are also known as ring finger scissors or weaver scissors and originate from work at the loom. They feature a single finger ring through which the ring finger is inserted. The scissors can rest open in the palm of the hand or be placed on the back of the hand while the other fingers remain free to work with fabric or thread.

Whenever a thread needs to be cut the scissors are immediately available. The spring mechanism automatically opens the blades again after each cut. The straight blades with finely ground inner surfaces allow precise cutting of threads and fine textiles.

With an overall length of about 115 mm the scissors are compact and easy to control. Made of stainless steel they are durable and easy to clean.
