The structure of a sand file consists of a 0.7 mm thick veneer wood as a core. An abrasive layer is glued on from both sides and the individual files are punched out in the grain direction of the wood.
Only veneer wood from European beech is used, and the binding of the abrasive grains on the paper is made of potato and corn starch.
